Me,self portrait, 4 AM, 10-20mm Sigma lens at 10mm, I am a little out of focus (oof), but that is normal for me, smile. OK, I chose this one to show me awake at 4 AM in my own surroundings. Coming "out of the closet" a bit, here. Behind me is an old secretary that I refinished in the early 1980s while living in Rock Hill,SC. I just laid it out on the drive way and worked on it rapidly. In the window of the secretary is an 11 X 14 photo of my father with my grandson Ryan Stafford on the way to Ryan's Baptism, along with his brother Chris's baptism. Ryan was riding with us along with my father. I turned around, with my old Nikon, and shot this photo. My father loved it, had all these 11 X 14s made. Bragged on Ryan, his first "great grand...". My father, Thomas A Rogers was 78 years old at the time. He died about 5 months later (Nov 1989). I leave the photo there...just do. On the right side of the photo, your rt, are pictures of fruit painted by my grandmother, Pearl Spencer, in her older years (about the same age I am now). I think we must be descendents of late bloomers, smile. On your left are round things that were in my mother's, Mary Spencer Hershey, house......somehow they ended up with me after she died. They are not something I would buy, but they were my mother's, so they are on my wall. On the secretary is "stuff". Some more important than others. I suppose the most important thing is the flashlight. (A comfort present from my daughter, Sara) It is always where I can find it in a power outage (and I had no idea it was there), it is supposed to be in the file cabinet on the lower rt side. There is my flash back there with the Gary Fong plastic ($50.00, can you believe) diffuser thing on it. Papers, stuff, books. On the lower rt the file cabinets, for more stuff, with stuff on top of them. I know where and what most everything is. My photoshop books are on the floor, I know they are there. My poetry books are supposed to be on the file cabinets, but somehow they "moved" and I can only find one now. So, this is me!
